That was completely uncalled for.....
Paul's posts make a thousand times more sense than yours.

How did that get through my killfiles anyway?
Guess it needs updating.

He can get through killfiles if he is replied to without snipping him
first.

Yes I know, but for some reason his own post got through, wasnt quoted in
anyone elses.

And Paul.. another advantage of not using google groups and using a
newsreader is that the nutters such as the one who replied to your post
can
be filtered out... very handy in unmoderated areas such as most Usenet
groups.

JIm.

Nah. I'd never wish to filter anyone out. I've always got the choice
as to whether to reply to people who are talking out of their bum, or
completely ignore them because they are talking out of their bum - and
I'm getting much better at the latter! I don't quite see why you
changed the thread title again, Jim. Mind you, it's all quite fun,
nutters, or not (I don't think you are, in the slightest!) and I may
change to using a newsreader group, but I'm not sure my work filter
would allow it through.

Nutters, stalkers, purveyors of idiocy and silly theories, abusive
maniacs with little else to do with their time, nutters and even more
nutters, are all there on the Internet. Such a rich world.
Fortunately, all of those form a very small minority - though several
have made it to moderators on some sites *)) - and will always be, as
they reflect real life pretty accurately and most people I've met
there have been highly reasonable and want to talk about mutual
interests.

Still looking good for settled and warm weather next week........and
it could last longer!

Paul

Didnt notice the subject change.. it wasnt intentional - I just hit reply!!
Have changed it back now.

Back on topic.. good to see the prospect at least of some more settled
weather, though I wont believe it till it's here - the models have been that
unreliable of late. Really need to see that high pressure to the north gone,
and the pressure a few millibars at the very least higher at Berne ;-) for a
sustained pattern change.

I'm getting married on July 5th and off to Guernsey afterwards on honeymoon,
so I am desperate for a non-repeat of last year, or another 1988/98!!
Fingers crossed.....

Jim.
