Summery weather to set in next week

Upper air looks right for a spell of settled and summery weather next
week. An upper trough disruption this weekend will ensure pressure will
build across the neck and resulting subsidence will ensure clearing skies.
Eventually by the end of next week it could well turn hot with
temperatures 28-30C in a few spots. Hot enough to trigger a few very
isolated storms. Should be lovely in Devon with cooling sea breezes and
temperatures up here on Dartmoor up to a scorching 22-25C.
Time to get the Mirror dinghy out and escape the heat I think.
Unless something changes dramatically the above will form the basis of my
weekly Dartmoor forecast on my web site.
