Default {WR} Haytor 7/6/08 (bright and fresh)

Hi Stan, nice to hear from you again (still in Plympton?).
Wow that sounds like quite an exciting storm!

All cleared up here now, completely sunny and temperature is actually rising
at 1900, now up to 14.8C.

Heavy Thunderstorm with fairly large hail (1 to 2 cm). Ground completely
covered with Kids trying to make a hail man.

Not quite the same as the Bracknell storm we experienced back in 2002 but
quite spectacular. Can hear more thunder as I type from another cell over
Dartmoor to the North. Dog is starting to get agitated again

Heavy stuff was further southwest of me Nick.

Just 0.8mm (AWS).
Now warm sunshine again and plenty of blue sky upwind.

Feels sticky now with the extra moisture, time to put my shorts on.
Promises to be a gorgeous second half of the afternoon!

Temperature responding nicely to the sunshine, now up to 14.5C again at
1500.

Looking dark over your way Will.

The rainfall radar shows lots of rain falling between Exeter & Plymouth.

Dry here, patchy cumulus about and feeling reasonably warm in the light
winds.
