I do sympathise though. I seem to be the only one now regularly

to because of the south western bias.

Currently 20.1°C under a whiteish sky.

Hi, Alan, Dave, Tom,

That is always the danger of regional "take-overs" and if it is the
case, it saddens me. This was a good group but is now in danger if
people are beginning to think like this. The problem appears to be the
"we (believe) have the best weather whatever it is, we don't want to
listen to anyone else and nowhere else has any value".
I, personally, like to hear of the weather in SW England and take the
banter with a tablespoon of salt, but I am now seeing that lots of
posters, especially from the North and Scotland seem to have given up.
There was some extremely interesting weather in Scotland last month,
but not a peep from most up there.
SW England is a nice part of the UK but many other parts of the UK are
to me.
We have our own group in the Cumbria area, although I don't use it as
much as I should, perhaps that is the way forward now for some.
I hope this is just a blip and that the lurkers from the rest of the
UK start posting, it IS uksci weather after all. There is interesting
weather happening out there, tell us about it.
Good to hear from you Tom.
