This morning I was up early and as I passed Keith at seven
minutes past six I heard a weather forecaster say that there
would be rain almost everywhere, and strong winds. He mentioned
most of England and Wales. There was no mention at all of any
part of Scotland.

For the record, I have spent most of the last three hours out
walking in unbroken sunshine with a pleasant cool breeze.
