Hi, All,
Threat of heavy rain today, lee-slope gale tomorrow and yet another
ground frost last night. Must be midsummer in Copley! Will I ever get
the sweet corn out of the cold frame? (:0)

You must be optomistic by nature to attempt to grow sweet corn where you
live with ground frosts possible so late in the year.

Since 2001 I have had no air frosts in May although ground frosts have
ceratinly occurred but it is possible to protect tender plants such a sweet
corn.

Definitely warm sector weather here today with a maximum of 18.4C and
adewpoint of 15C. It has been quite bright from time to time but the sun
has never broken through.
