Yesterday saw prolonged sunshine, 23.9 degrees, light winds in Penzance, but
you probably wouldn't have thought so from the way the weather was
summarised.

We had our rain Sunday morning.

One thing I've noticed since living in Devon is how rubbish the information on
radio is. Quite often max. temps are given for cities such as Cardiff, London,
Manchester etc but no mention of temperatures in Devon. Also we tend to get
lumped into "southern England" when our weather is often very different.
