Met Office summer forecast updated

Well now you are asking, what I want out of a British summer is longer
spells of anticyclonic weather with the anticyclone in the most favorable
place for decent warmth.... +25c late June is not unreasonable were I am
located ( which will of course exclude an Anticyclone to the North, North
West and West for that matter, like really we have had over the past
months). I think this is, briefly, on the cards soon for a few days in the
outlook. I also want warmth and expect to have a run of cyclonic
westerlies so that comes with the package because of course rain is
required to make things grow.
Now I am lampooned because I grumble whenever I see an outlook like that
you had posted from the Met today. It sorta writes it off despite its only
a forecast but I have a great faith in it being so, strangely. But this is
just my nature.
I dont think its unreasonable to expect it to be a little warmer by the
25th June but evidently those on here do. I tell you something its far
from balmy this evening thats for sure and the woolies, hot water bottle,
central heating has rarely been off so far this year. Now this is normal
for you I guess most years. Its coming to understand this that I have have
a problem with.

Many of us feel the same Dave, but at least you live in the sunny SE,
nearest to our Euro neighbours who enjoy a proper summers and sunny settled
winters. Nature operates a similar scoring system to the Eurovision song
contest. Poor old Blighty is always hopeful but somehow inevitably gets
disappointed.
What keeps us all here? The rain, the wind or the tax?
