Absolute Min *- *6.2C - 17th
Warmest Night - 15.0C - 27th

RAINFALL
Total 34.8mm (51%)
Wettest Day 13.7mm - 20th

Days with:-
= 1.0mm rain - 5
= 0.2mm rain - 9
Thunder - 0
Hail * * * - 0
Fog @ 09:00 - 0
Gales - 0

Strongest Gust - just 29mph on 22nd

A very uneventful sort of June, but pleasant enough. Dry & also
slightly sunnier than average. Temperatures were exactly on the
1971-2000 norm but, because of the warmth of recent years, it was the
coolest June since 2002. The average diurnal range was unusually
large.

Thank you Graham - and to eveyone else who has posted figures. I've
enjoyed looking at them all.

Would you please book the Cornwall summer, starting on 16th July, when
we have a cottage booked for a week near Penzance. TY. Failing that,
ask the basking sharks to come to a plankton buffet, in the rain, in
the havens on the North coast! Oh, an owl, or two would help too. Last
year, we came across a chough, not more than 20 feet from us, while
walking on the Lizard. So lucky! A truly fantastic, world-beating,
coastline. Unforgettable.
