Well I guess it's my turn now :-)

Continuous heavy rain for over an hour now and still absolutely bucketing

down.
Accompanied by fog of course.

Nothing unusual for this part of the world but it's not doing my new trade

in
ice creams and sun shades much good :-)

Amazingly still dry here, Will, with the showers remaining just to the west
of me all day. Things look more threatening now to the south, though.

Hi Jon, yep you should be getting the rain within the next hour or two.

Rain massing just off the south coast according to the 2000 radar.
Sadly also a lot more rain near Aberfeldy on that image as well :-(

Still heaving down here, but at least the wind has dropped right out. For a
while earlier it was force 6 easterly, which I cannot understand. One of my
patio plants even got blown over due to funneling effects.
