I tend to agree with you Keith. *The models are only hinting at an
improvement in mid July. *One of the problems, as far as I'm concerned, is
that persistence is particularly strong at this time of year.

There are hints Mike! I'd settle for those 12z gfs charts for next
weekend! It would be at the expense of a forecast, but who cares! I
have guests with young children. I really don't want rain! I want nice
sunny, calm picnic and boat trip conditions with rain only forecast
several days ahead, on washing day, or something!
