I'm never miserable in cool summer weather.

They don't, judging by the above comment.
Quite fascinating, really. Most of us on here, I assume, were born in
the British Isles and have spent most of our lives here and should
therefore be completely acclimatised to the British Isles weather. Yet,
the range of temperature in which we feel most comfortable varies
hugely from individual to individual. For some (including me) an ideal
summer afternoon temperature is 17-18c. For others the ideal is over
30c. I suspect that the great majority favour somewhere around 25c.
Also, some people like air with a high dew point while others prefer a
low dew point. I wouldn't begin to offer a reason why there is such
variability in what feels comfortable but there is no doubt that the
variability exists.
