I agree with you Nick, though the overall improvement, as you imply,
will be relative and not the same for all areas. It really can't be a
lot worse in July down here..........but a wonderful, marvellous,
timely and welcome bump for the weekend! Enjoy and dry out!

Once the sun comes out even for a few days, the weeds will grow like
billyo. However, having said that, they've been growing quite well in
the wet.
The one good advantage about hot weather I don't need to do the garden.
The weeds have shivelled and died, the lawn is a burnt brown. Just
need to water the flower plants.
