I wonder what Dawlish Paul will make of that?

Hi Will,

I can't judge the forecast as excellent, as that can only be done at
outcome, but I think the idea is certainly excellent, brave, clearly
written and well produced! Well done Will and keep it going! Would the
information centre at Postbridge be interested, or do you help them
out already? It will be very interesting to compare forecast with
outcome as you go along. An analysis how the forecast for the previous
week has turned out and why it was successful, or not, would be a
great help and I'm sure there are lots on here, and beyond who will be
interested in both the forecast and the analysis. Good luck! I'm sure
you'll use your local knowledge to really good effect in the
forecasts.

As far as your forecast for this week goes, I would think that you are
right in saying that there is low confidence in forecasting for the
second half of next week (and even lower confidence out to 10 days). I
tend towards the "cooler and showery" outlook after Tuesday, though
I'd love the ECM outlook to come true and summer could then, perhaps,
actually begin after next weekend! I'm not sure Monday's temperatures
will quite scale those heights on Monday, on Dartmoor, but it has the
potential to be a lovely day and warm in the East.
