The panorama is nothing, not a patch, on the scale of Snowdonia or most of
beautiful Scotland.

And after spending many weekends walking on Dartmoor I can say that is has
some of the finest ancient oak woodlands in the British Isles.

I've only been exploring Dartmoor for a couple of years now but the variety
and rugged beauty of the place makes it very special, and quite unlike
anywhere else. Dartmoor was also voted the number one natural wonder of the
South West, beating even the Jurassic Coast.
