Ha! Hmmm, amusing.
The panorama is nothing, not a patch, on the scale of Snowdonia or most
of beautiful Scotland.
Now that is one thing that Dartmoor has got; Dartmoor exudes panoramic
views, see he

And after spending many weekends walking on Dartmoor I can say that is has
some of the finest ancient oak woodlands in the British Isles.

Dartmoor also has stunning wooded valleys, some of the best I have ever
seen:

And beautiful river valleys aplenty:

Plus a history spanning back 1000s of years of settlements, stones circles
and mining:

I've only been exploring Dartmoor for a couple of years now but the
variety and rugged beauty of the place makes it very special, and quite
unlike anywhere else. Dartmoor was also voted the number one natural
wonder of the South West, beating even the Jurassic Coast.
Dave, methinks you could be a little envious......
Sunshine and beefy showers here today. A max of 20.3°C.
