I was just about to post that 30.9C Colin! That's the first part of
the wager won and puts me in a slight profit, whether 90F is reached
or not. 8))

£200 waiting on 90F, before the end of July. Tomorrow's the only real
chance, but it's a half-decent one. The max temps have risen each day
for the last 4 days and there's a very warm night in prospect tonight
in London. I'd back against it at evens, but as someone was offering
20/1 against, this afternoon, it seemed a little too good to miss!

I just love the Met Office roof! I wonder if anyone would notice a
small hand-heater right under the Stevenson screen tomorrow
afternoon.......?
