Default Lundie, Dundee July 2008

July 2008 in Lundie, Angus, in the Sidlaws, 10 miles NW of Dundee, elev. 185m.

Dull and cool. While the rest of the country enjoyed a warm end to the
month, after a few fine days, the wind swung round to the east, and as
usual, the dreaded haar came in.

Average maxima = 18.3 (-1.0)
Average minima = 10.9 (-0.2)
Mean = 14.6 (-0.6)
Highest maximum = 23.9 (22th)
Lowest maximum = 12.1 (10th)
Lowest minimum = 7.9 (20th)
Total rainfall = 59.4 (104%, with 14.0 mm on the 31st)

All readings (except grass minimum) from a slightly less new shiny
Davis Vantage Pro 2 (but the little plastic grid that covers the rain
gauge disappeared within a fortnight).

I've noticed the weather always seems more interesting ten miles away,
although the direction is variable.
