The thing that made me question the premise in the first place was the
example my "stics" prof used:
In this area we get the majority of our rain in months with long
names and an "r" in them, from Novermber to February.
We need the rain for the crops in months with short names and no "r"
in them from April to August.
Therefore, if we just swap the names of those months, we'll get our
rain when we need it
