Default Penzance - Sun & Surf!

Thank's to that low just off S cornwall, we are sitting in a nice
clear, calm warm & sunny spot. A real bonus that low centre, I had
feared there might be a cool NW setting in by now.

Dashed off to Sennen at 09:00 to beat the crowds, after quickly
checking the rainfall radar & the surf cam.www.chapelidne.com/php/surf_report.php

The beach was packed by the time I came out of the water at 10:30,
after a great bit of bodyboarding in the warmest water of the year.
Completely still on the beach with a lovely clean wave which was quite
big enough for me.

Couple of photos taken at 11:15 when I got back homewww.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/Sun.htmlshowing just how deep blue the
sky is. The cumulus now limited to inland.

It's the sort of gorgeous still, sunny, warm morning that defies the
most pessimistic model forecasts. It's so much better when you weren't
really expecting it. Thank you God (or possibly a butterfly)

14:45 & still sunny - fantastic right on the coast, peaked at 21.6C
here - might drop a tad now a NNWs set in. Look at those Cb just
inland www.nci-stives.org/basiccamera.htm (middle or top camera) a
very different picture along the spine of Cornwall where there's some
very heavy rain.
