Default Boscastle 133mm rain.

It was from a gauge. They have a surprising number of rain gauges in
Cornwall
Following the 2003 St. Ives syorm they kindly supplied me with rainfall
figures from 11 gauges they had, all within 10 miles of Penzance, including
2 within 2 miles of my station..

Perhaps the EA are taking an integrated value derived from the radar,
although a spokesman on the BBC R4 1 PM news said that they had a gauge in
the area that 'gave them some warning'.

The Environment Agency have reported 133mm of rain in 7 hours just

inland
from Boscastle. This is the highest figure I've seen so far.
