Apart from a sharp shower around noon it's been dry since 08:00 with
sunny spells and only a force 3-4 wind. Much quieter than conditions
seem to have been over Devon. Centre of the low type conditions.
Though looking at the rainfall radar we've been very lucky, in a gap
between rian moving north off Land's End, and rain moving north up the
Lizard.

A big swell from the south. A rather an unusual direction, so on the
west side of Mount's Bay, where the swell is normally highly
refracted, the waves are pretty impressive. Plenty of visitors taking
photos of the waves crashing over Mousehole pier onto the cars, and
there is a good reef break near Mousehole Island.
