Just got soaked *measuring* the rain from 5" gauge which was in danger of
overflowing.
Total is now 57.1mm (this is my highest total since moving here in April
2002).

And ... it is still absolutely heaving down with torrential rain at over 50
mm/h.
Davis VP is ticking over rapidly.

Roads are awash, moor is awash, my garden is awash, if this goes on then I
dread to think about the rivers.

Temperature is 11.2C
