The unsettled weather has continued almost unabated now
for months now. Sure there have been a few days of warm
and sunny conditions here and there, but nothing lasts and
any high pressure is always transitory, being rudely shoved
aside as the Atlantic relentlessly pushes in.
Up here I'm used to weeks of unsettled conditions but not
*months* of them. When was the last time we had anything
approaching a 'blocking' (remember them?) high pressure
system?
Mid May perhaps?
