Cant find a figure for Bedford for the same period (neglected to check
Weatheronline at 09z Sun)
Looks considerably less, Roger Brugge's stite has 11.0mm for 18z Sat
to 06z Sun. The rainfall
seems to have been very localised. Northampton (Pitsford Hall)
recorded 32.7 in the 24 hrs to
09z Sun, and Stanwick (AWS) 2 km to my SW recorded 34.1mm between 23z
Sat and 09z Sun.
