Could the source have been the old reliable rubbish, Daily Express?

My first question to Dave was did this conversation come up in the
19th Hole ;-)
Oh, I just love these reports in the Daily Express, they missed the
first bit "Once upon a time".
Of course it would be Sods Law if this winter turned out severe, with
rising fuel costs together with the likelyhood of our infrastructure
not being able to cope with the demand.
Note: Just because we have Scani High now means absolutely nothing to
what the pressure patterns will be in the winter, I've been down this
road many many times. We normally hit December and the SW winds come
in for the next three months.
Happy days.
