This is an old story that has been dug up for the umpteenth time. It's
easy to refute any connection between the Lynmouth Flood and any rain-making
experiments, at least it is to someone with even a trace of knowledge of the
subject, which wouldn't be anyone at the BBC. I particularly liked "250 times
the normal August rainfall".
