According to CEEFAX P404 at 0100 the pressure over most of the midlands is
in the range 1010 to 1013 so it looks as if you are a bit low.
What weather machine are you using because most of them have a height
adjustment on them
as for finding your height (in metres) go here,
http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/getamap/
accept the agreement, then a map window will open and you can enter your
postcode.

Leicester, i am curreently reading 1000mb, but i think this may be too low
possibly.
I know this is based on Height Above Sea Level, but i can't see anywhere
where you can accurately figure out how high you are above sea level.
