Didn't expect to read that this morning, Phil. Patchy mist and low
cloud was expected but not fog.

Started off with clear blue sky here in Chalfont St Giles at dawn with
no wind at all. Around 0800z a gentle breeze set in from the SW and
within minutes fog and low stratus spread in. Vis got down to about
200m at times. It all cleared quite quickly between 0930z and 1000z.
