Default Berkshire - Minus 7.3C (and lightning yesterday)

James

I presume your thermometers are in a standard screen of some sort (Stevenson/AWS), else you will
get car windscreen temperatures!

Yes, there was lighting/thunder reported around the South. Yeovilton, Lyneham and Northolt all
reported thundery activity in their SYNOPs.

Best Regards
Roy

Are both my thermometers way out? I know we live in the bottom of a
valley, and it is a frost pocket, but why are we always so much colder
than everywhere else? Maybe I should be lagging the thermometers to
keep them warm at night! Anyone else get these sort of temperatures?

By the way, I was astonished to see lighting yesterday. Was there much
about?

Best wishes

James
