Default Correction to Rainfall from Southcote

Just had a 'senior moment'

Forgot to subtract the 10mm added to raingauge to melt the snow.
Not used to recording snow these days.

.... had the same problem here with the hail to melt - had to add 6 mm
to the gauge to encourage it to melt, before the lot froze in the
collector!

Very small 'drifts' of hail left over this morning - otherwise a
cracking start to the day - crystal blue sky and temperature climbing
smartly from an overnight low of -1.3°C, which is a remarkably low air
min given our very enclosed garden. Hurn down to -2.8°C.
