Default Guildford Snow 28Oct

In Knaphill, I imagine about 5 miles NW of you, we peaked at about 2cm
in the early hours. As you found some of it had melted by morning.
What sort of weather did you get in the US?

Thanks Alan. Ironically, there was a similar set up in the US with a ploar
outbreak last weekend, and some snow flurries around Lake Mitchigan, but it
warmed up. Tuesday we were in Chicago, and while the temps reached 55f
(sorry there is no celsius in the USA) it felt nothing like our 12c due wind
chill. On Thursday we went to Indianpolis where it warmed up and the last
few days have been at around 66-70c. In fact Chicago is 73f today. No clouds
at all until yesterday and the trees are a sight with the orange and reds of
the maples against the clear blue skies.

Never been through so many time changes in a week:
Sun UK -1
Tue USA Central -6 Illinois
Thu USA Eastern +1 Indiana
Sun USA -1 (Energy Saving Time)
Sun USA -1 Central in Illionois
Mon UK +6
