At the Monterey site of the US Navy,

it was stated 155 kts sustained, gusts of 190 kts and a central
pressure of 879 mbar.
So, yes, an old fashioned "super". (A cat. V)
However, each year a couple of such storms pop up in the West Pacific.
A top year was 1997, with as much as 10 cat V's!
