Have you ever recorded a freezing day there, and if not, has there
*ever* been one recorded in Penzance?
I haven't recorded a freezing day, however they have occured, though
normally require an easterly gale.
I think the last freezing day was in January 1987. On 12th January
1987, (I was up in Wiltshire at that time) there was (according to the
MetO) 39cm of lying snow in Penzance, and over 20cm on Scilly.
Wow - I'm surprised they've had *any* there since the end of the
ice-age.
