Front went through at 0230 but then with an hour's very heavy rain at 20
mm/h.
Event total is 50 mm which is par for the course for a heavy rain event on
Dartmoor.
Needless to say, everywhere is sopping.
A total of 43 mm fell here overnight, which is quite a deluge.
The front moved through at 03:15 with a very marked change in wind direction
from SSE to W and a small temperature drop from 10.1°C to 9.2°C in 15
minutes. The wind also fell away very quickly after that from gusts in
excess of 40 mph to near calm conditions within 30 minutes.
Now overcast, windless, grey, sopping and getting colder - a cruddy sort of
day.
(09:30), 5.6°C, RH 95%, DP 4.6°C, 988 hPa (F), Wind calm.
