Event total is 50 mm which is par for the course for a heavy rain event on
Dartmoor.
Needless to say, everywhere is sopping.

A total of 43 mm fell here overnight, which is quite a deluge.

The front moved through at 03:15 with a very marked change in wind direction
from SSE to W and a small temperature drop from 10.1°C to 9.2°C in 15
minutes. The wind also fell away very quickly after that from gusts in
excess of 40 mph to near calm conditions within 30 minutes.

Now overcast, windless, grey, sopping and getting colder - a cruddy sort of
day.

(09:30), 5.6°C, RH 95%, DP 4.6°C, 988 hPa (F), Wind calm.

Nice bright mid winter day here. www.sennen-cove.com/todaysurf.htm

Enough breeze to dry things up a bit after last nights rain.

The heavier showers have remained out over the sea so far, though look
set to move in this afternoon.
