The air over London was noticeable clear on the drive into London
tonight - the sun was still clearly bright and visible as it touched
the horizon - something you see very rarely with the smog that usually
envelops the capital. The silhouette of the Gherkin, Tower 42,
Barbican and Canary Wharf looked dramatic against the yellow disk.
It's just a shame I didn't have a camera to hand...
