Temperature topped at 3.5°C today at 13:58, but one thing I have noticed
is the visibility has get better now. Also to note is the dewpoint
actually rose to +0.9°C this afternoon, it's dropped below now together
with the air temp, but this strikes me as a tad milder. Not quite sure
of wind direction as my WMII is saying North, but it's also calm, so it
maybe the last direction it stuck on. (5.98 hour of sunshine)

The satellite animation does appear to be showing some push from the SW
and no push yet from the north as it appears to be heading towards Russia:http://wind.met.fu-berlin.de/cgi-bin...=12&count=16&i....

Also I assume some parts of France are getting snow, looking at the
French Radar:http://www.meteogroup.co.uk/uk/home/...ar/france.html
Although the Paris Airport Metars have been reporting rain/freezing rain
and snow.
Again much of Europe although cold, not cold enough to get excited about.

I think after the next couple of days we may have a better idea which
way the penny's going fall.

If the penny falls on the mild side there's going to be the biggest
load of egg on face seen in living memory.

And Paul Simons will be taking all the credit...
