I'm at a bit of a loss to know what the cold lovers want? It is now
turning very cold for the time of year and yet folk still seem to want
more? I know there is no snow on offer in the immediate future but we have
known that for a while. Also one high cell *has* to sink south to let the
very cold arctic surge come in, so you will see southwesterlies on some
runs but they will not be tropical maritime southwesterlies. Nothing has
changed since yesterday, the broad picture is still there with potentially
the best winter cold scenario we have had for years with a distorted and
very stubborn omega block in place!

But if you tell me what you want I'll see what I can do :-))

I'd like a polar low running down the Irish Sea if you could arrange that
