Incredible scar I found on a Scots Pine tree after being struck by lightning
in recent storms. The line runs from the top of the left trunk then jumps to
right trunk ending up at hole in the ground at the tree base.
Bark from the tree had been thrown up to 10m away. The strike also blew my
modem up!
I was amazed to see no burning, it just appears as if the tree bark was
vapourised.
