It's been interesting watching your mins over the past couple of weeks
Ken, as I'm often very close to yours.
Big difference recently here because of the North Sea influence. Last
night it was once again overcast, cleared at 0100 for an hour, clouded
over again and cleared ish at 0800 to give a min of -3.3.
That's been fairly typical, though usually we get only one clearance
per night for a shorter duration. Coldest has been -4 in this spell as
none of the overnight clear periods has lasted and mins generally
around -1 or 2.
Beautiful today though, max -0.4, absolutely no thaw, -2 by 1700 and
now the cloud has rolled in again.
