The trouble is tomorrow never comes. This sounds just like last winter
g Not again!
Just had a heavy shower here in Southend, Wife's just gone off with
the huff to the Wakering Fair. Of course it's all my fault!
I wonder whether the improvement will actually come this week. It was
almost like another low decided to repeat the cycle again without
telling anyone.

Absolutely - not just Jazz though. All the BBC forecasts since mid last week
have forecast a good Bank Holiday for the SE. Each day it has been
downgraded by saying tomorrow will be OK though, with the possible exception
of some patchy drizzle Sunday. So far it has been the coldest few days since
June and among the cloudiest. Now, on dry Monday it is chucking it down. I
give up!!

At 1215 the Jazz FM DJ announced an apology for their 1200 weather
forecast (which had been for dry weather). He said that, during the last
record, he had left the studio (apparently in London W1) for a moment
and noticed that it was "weeing down" (I presume this is a technical
term g). He apologised for the Met Office forecast and there was then
the sound of paper being torn up. He then said that they will correct
the forecast at 1300.
