But the fact is that the birds will eat it once they get used to it.
They tend to associate white with the scraps they are usually fed.

How about taking a slice of white bread, shaping it into a "ball" and
seeing how high it will bounce. Of course, if you like having a rubber-
like "bread" in your stomach, go on eating white!
