Having played [at] cricket at 6pm on a dull, numbingly cold day in
mid-summer with heavy drizzle being driven across the ground by a strong
west wind, I'd've preferred a SE zephyr on a sunny evening in May when the
temperature had been in the mid-twenties. Admittedly, the temperature can
drop a bit quickly during the evening and a sweater might have been needed
but I wouldn't have minded that.
