No don't worry Mr Davis its just the common cold.

Not common enough to say "balls" though. Where do you get
these jokes, Lawrence? I've seen better in Reader's Digest.


Not only that.. The balls in question were British Navy cannon balls and the
Brass Monkey was a rack to hold them in on the ship's deck. As the
temperature dropped the brass contracted letting the balls drop out.

Even though the statuesque well hung brass primate is a better image in my
mind for cold weather, he could have said balls with a clear conscience!

Round these parts (fnur fnur) it's generally shortened to "I'm freezing me
******** off!" with an additional "innit" depending on age...
