Any other snow reports, can't see any apart from Penzance!

We've had temporary coverings of snow the last two days, but only
following
the usual mix of rain/sleet/snow/soft hail showers. I've seen little
significant lying snow except to the west on ground over 500ft.

In Rossendale (NW England) we currently have 5cm level snow cover at
950ft following on from this afternoon's showery activity. Some roads
are treacherous with freezing snow melt (especially minor roads and
the A682 Rawtenstall to Burnley route). No sign at all of any gritters
around 18:45 as I made my way up. Currently:

air temp: -0.4C
dewpoint: -0.7C

I'm currently on 0.0C and everything is getting cruncy underfoot, well
it's better than walking through slush!
The main roads didn't appear to have been gritted today, not surpisingly
due to the lack of snow forecast, but to be fair they didn't really need
it,.
The snow fell during the day and the relitively high temperatures and
pressure of traffic saw to no probelems on any roads I saw.
I did see a gritter skulking around the side streets earlier to be fair....
