Phew, 10cm hail is base ball sized and does serious damage.

Mind you 10mm isn't very nice to be caught out in but it's not likely
to smash windscreens and dent body work...

Earlier this winter I was hail-blasted on a walk by 5mm hail in 30+ knots,
it hurts!!! :-)
