I noticed that as well Brendan - the 528 looks a little far north, but
OTOH...
Interesting days - and out further the GFS has had several days of runs
which bring back cold easterlies.

I was reading in The Times today that the winds in the stratosphere are
going in the opposite direction an normal (East to West), and that the
stratospheric winds take weeks to change. So the whole of February may
be cold.
