RMK: Snow has compacted a little since yesterday,
with a drop in total depth to 18cm in spite of 3cm fresh
snow in the last 24 hours. Sky did not clear until about
midnight; fog formed relatively recently judging by
small amount of rime. B4540 passable with care,
but I'm yet to attempt the quarter-mile between me
and the road.
