If the pressure is low enough I think some people will be very
surprised by the amount of snow this will bring - a depression with
that centre would give the equivalent of being up much higher than sea
level -

In pressure terms yes but no reason to suppose the temperature
will be affected by the MSL pressure.
No-one has mentioned the large amounts of rain this will bring
to the south (according to GFS). I think the greatest problem this
could bring would be flooding given that the ground will be saturated
or snow-covered.
